The first House of Walker has been opened in Accra as part of Guinness Ghana’s ambition to make the favourite Johnnie Walker Whisky available to all consumers and retail dealers.
The facility will be used by customers of Guinness and consumers of the Scotch whisky to learn more about the product and its qualities.
This initiative forms part of the 200 years celebration of Johnnie Walker since its introduction into the market.
Marketing Manager in charge of Spirits Category at Guinness Ghana Lebogang Mohale explained that his outfit will use the iconic Johnnie Walker brand to showcase Ghana to the world.
“Visitors can pop into the store to learn more about Johnnie Walker and purchase Johnnie Walker limited edition icons and gift packs for those who walk with them. There are also guided tours around House of Johnnie Walker, ranging from the incredibly interactive flavour academy and heritage room to Bar 200 where consumers can enjoy Johnnie Walker and our new range of single malts,” she said.
House of Walker Accra is open to the public free of charge from the December 1 till the end of the month. It is also open to corporate and group bookings. It promises to be the most memorable way to end the year 2020.
