Channing Tatum is producing and starring in the upcoming Disney film ‘Bob the Musical’.
‘Bob the Musical’ which has been in development for more than a decade (since 2004) will tell the story of a regular guy whose worst nightmare comes to life when he wakes up and finds that he’s trapped in a musical.
Tatum will produce under his company banner Free Association together with his partners Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan. Tripp Vinson and Chris Bender are also producing. No director has been attached to the script yet, since it became certain that Disney is developing it. Jessica Virtue and Allison Erlikhman will oversee for Disney.
Repped by CAA and Hanson Jacobson, Tatum also has on the pipeline ‘Dog’ which he will co-write and co-direct with Carolin. ‘Soundtrack of Silence’ is also one of the many projects he is working on currently for Paramount Pictures.
Elsewhere in the life of Tatum, the actor has reportedly rekindled his romance with Jessie J after their split a little more than a month ago.
