Selena Gomez is already trading her music career A-lister status for a beauty mogul title. The ‘Same Old Love’ singer is reportedly set to launch her own beauty line under the banner July Moon Productions Inc.
Back in July this year, Gomez filed for a namesake trademark, which will be used in selling her developing beauty products ranging from; bath items, skincare, haircare, soaps, moisturizers, cleansers, incense, nail products, essential oils and several beauty goods.
Gomez, who doubles as a part-time actress has been in partnership with beauty and fashion brands over the years, on board either as an ambassador or a designer counterpart. In 2010, she released the Selena Gomez Eau de Parfum with Givaudan perfumers, followed by Vivamore in 2013. As brand ambassador for Coach and Puma, Selena has worked with both labels in producing fashion items such as bags, sweaters, sneakers, sandals and more.
The singer’s debut into the beauty line ownership adds her to likes of Rihanna and Lady Gaga, who have made time from their buzzing music careers into making the beauty industry and evidently doing well at that. Rihanna launched her Fenty Beauty in September 2017, whiles Gaga launched Haus Laboratories brand in July 2019.
